Software updates

Well, my favorite post-processing plug-ins are coming along in the updates. Nik Software’s Color Efex Pro filter suite is now 64-bit. Only two more application updates to go. Also, their HDR program has been released. HDR Efex Pro just came out as native 64-bit. I don’t have this yet and may hold off for a while. I don’t do much HDR and when I do is is just for fun and quite obvious I don’t know what I’m doing. The 64-bit updates are free downloads to current owner/users of the 32-bit versions.

And yesterday Apple released an update to Aperture. This was just a standard software update that fixes bugs and stability issues and is available through the software update feature in Apple’s OSX.
