New conservation book

Renowned herpetologist turned publisher Louis Porras has just released a new book through his Eagle Mountain Publishing press. Titled Conservation of Mesoamerican Amphibians and Reptiles, it promises to be a must-have for every conservationist and herpetologist. This 812 page volume offers 21 contributions from 43 authors and covers regions that encompass 1900 herpetofaunal species. Chapters discuss conservation efforts in each of the Mesoamerican countries with other chapters discussing Global Amphibian Assesment, taxonomy, distribution, and diversity importance.
